Michelle was born on December 26, 1968.  She began gymnastics at age 4, and trained at SCATS with coaches Don Peters and Mary Wright.  After the 1984 Olympics, Michelle appeared in the film "American Anthem" at Janet Jones' stunt double.  A dislocated elbow kept her out of competition for most of 1985.  She's now married to Mike Farrell and is a registered dietitian.  The couple have a daughter, Abby.
