Dianne Durham (USA)

1983 US National Champion
1983 Chunichi Cup AA Bronze Medalist

Dianne was born on June 17, 1968 in Gary, Indiana.  A powerful gymnast like Mary Lou Retton, Dianne was considered Retton's strongest competition leading up to 1984.  An ankle injury prevented Diane from finishing competition at the 1984 US Olympic Trials; petitions onto the team were not allowed.  Dianne and husband Tom Drahozal were the owners of Skyline Gymnastics in Chicago. After a brief illness, Dianne died on February 4, 2021.
