Jeff Ruell was asking if anyone has done a front somi onto the horse?
Well, I don't remember his name, I think Chad Fox,
anyway, he won NCAA vaulting like 4 years in a row. It wasn't that
long ago either, like around '88 or '90 or something.  I know the last year he
 won
he competed a front somi on handspring off.  It's on tape of one of
the NCAA finals. I'm not sure if he won vaulting with the front on
all 4 years though.
Hope this helped.

Subject: Unsolicited e-mail ads

A few weeks back I got an e-mail from some direct advertising company or some
such weasely group (even if I remembered I wouldn't give them the free
mention anyway).  In the e-mail, they said if I didn't want to receive any
more e-mail ads to respond with a message stating so.  I PROMPTLY responded
with an  "ABSOLUTELY NO MORE"!  since then I've been getting more mail about
various products/services.  I never got these until I got onto GYMN-L.  Is
this coincidence, or is somebody at America On-line selling out e-mail
addresses?  I seriously want to know what's going on here!  Anybody else from
GYMN-L getting harrassed this way?  Please respond, thanks.

Helen-  I have both the commonwealth games and sabae worlds on
tape...  Commonwealhs, unfortunately, ran overtime, so some is missing.
I don't know if I really want to exchange wither, tho, since
they are combined w/ other sports and tapes....

I don't know if my original message to this forum came out
It was about tv appearances and info about a list of 20 gymnasts
If it was received, can you tell me?

When is the next gymnastics shown on tv?

Thanx

None of the messages in the volume II of the digests are
accessible from here.  Any ideas?

Subject: a gymnastics poem

Here is a gymnastics poem that I wrote for my high school's gymnastics
team last year...I hope you enjoy.

Run, tumble, leap, and dance,
Kepp your energy high
and put the audience in a trance.
Keep a smile on your face
and your head up high,
Set yourself up and be straight,
now go, hit it and fly.
Just be graceful and elegant
because soon you'll be done,
Concentrate hard, stay focused
and have fun
Make sure you breathe
and conserve energy well,
Go for it now, don't worry,
Just let the momentum swell.
Now always remember even though
it looks effortless at first glance,
You still have to try your hardest,
and run, tumble, leap, and dance.

This is my "farewell" gift to all of you.  I'll be back around January
7.  Take care and watch or do some gymnastics for me.  Happy Holidays
Everyone!  :-)
Gymnastically Yours,
Aaron

Lanna Appisuhk ('92 USA Junior National Champion)  just won the
Southeast Asian Games.

Lanna was representing Thailand in this competition even though she
trains at Broadway Gymnastics in Winter Springs, Florida  (the same
place where Brandy Johnson  - '88 Olympics - is training for the
Professional World meet).

Scott Johnson ('84 & 88 Olympics) is one of the coaches at Broadway
who also brought Lanna to Sabae to represent Thailand at the recent
World Championships.
