Subject: Judging

There was some talk regarding how to become a judge in the list
recently.  Does anyone know if one has to have a degree in physical
education before one can be eligible to study/train to become a judge
of developmental--elite levels?  Who picks the judges in elite
competitions such as Worlds?  What is the criteria involved in
selecting these judges?  Also, is there a gender restriction:  such
as women judging only women's gymnastics and men-men's gymnastics.
In figure skating this is not the case.

no one is forcing them to compete they do if thay are ready. Young gymnasts
could be at their best then, and they are missing a great oppourtunity that
they don't get to compete. They might not be as good later on in their
careers.

Subject: jokes

I am interested in hearing any jokes related to gymnastics.
I would like to hear some to tell the kids at the gym as well as the
adult ones for the coaches.

Feel free to e-mail them to me or post them here.
